About Us
In January, the Slovenian Jeunesses Musicales celebrated its 40th birthday. Since 1969 our main goal remains the care for young musicians: offering them opportunities for their musical development, helping them build their first contacts with the audiences and supporting them in performing.
More than 7100 events have been successfully organized by JMS, and young audiences will further on have the opportunity to be present at one of JMS' concerts, symphonic matinees, lectures and other events. With its high quality concerts, JMS will continue to offer a variety of interesting performances for the public, covering several genres: from classical music to jazz, world music, ethno music, modern music and a rich programme for children.
The 19th season of JM Stage (GM Oder) presents 6 concert tours of musicians under age of 25 and additional concerts in collaboration with our international JMI partners in the summer time. After more than 100 concerts in the past two decades, our programmes remain entertaining and educating for the young audience.
